Detailed review
First, I have to say that this phone was a huge let down for me. I enjoy Android so much that I did not mind the stock Android software build on it *at all*. In fact, this may have been a plus! The only additions it had were the Sprint ones (e.g., Sprint Nav, NFL, Sprint TV, etc).

The first issue I encountered was a bad GPS, which is not related to the reported using-wifi-throws-off-gps-issue. This was actually a faulty unit which I returned and was given a non-faulty unit. GPS began working fine after this.

The deal-breaking-issue for me was the fact that the phone went into airplane mode at random. It wasn't just me either. I work for a large company where three people I know of have a Samsung Moment and have reported this issue alwo. It wouldn't be as bad (still a dealbreaker, though) if it reported it was in airplane mode. It completely turns off the radio for internet and data, also wi-fi is turned off & DOES NOT report it to you. I was sitting at work for hours expecting a call when I tried to make an outbound call and the phone froze up [this is how you *confirm* it was in airplane mode after you suspect so].

My suspicions are that the phone goes from 1X to EV or vice-versa and becomes stuck; Android wasn't built for CDMA and Samsung has not built the necessary modifications to continuously run on it. (again, my suspicions)

**Samsung**: this is not a hole you leave unpatched for months!!!

I'm still going to give it a good score despite all the issues I had with it. The keyboard took getting used to as the spacebar is in the bottom row of keys. Not a big deal, at least not as big of a deal as some make it. I actually even got used to using the keyboard for gaming on NESoid. The screen is beautiful and very bright. The speaker in the back is very loud and clear. The phone itself is very loud and clear.
