Detailed review
i originally baought this camera as a replacement to a broken lumix dmc-lz8. this camera produces decent images. reds are horribly distorted under most white balances and the ones that work distort the other colors. the zoom button is really easy to use but all of the other buttons have a weird textures and are extremely loose. iso performance was better than expected and so was low light performance. the 3x zoom is decent. The digital image stabilization is absolutely horrible, if you want this camera get the l210 with optical image stabilization is worth the money. When i take this into outside light no madder how low you set the brightness it is washed out unclear. i compared this to a nikon of the same specs/price and the nikon won by a long shot. this is where the camera really stinks, the customer service! I turned it on a few days ago and the lens got stuck. i called samsung a person with a very hard to understand accent sent me a battery to try and fix the broken lens! and before the lens broke the software froze every so often but was tolerable ad fixed itself after i turned it off. if you can don't buy this camera and you should avoid their cameras because of the customer service. i was "disconnected" during the call and i don't know if they were frustrated with me or it was a dropped call(i was calling from a land line though). even if you have to give up features/megapixels buy from nikon or another company.
