Detailed review
The Samsung Instinct S30 is that kind of phone that can do everything a smartphone can, but it lacks a lot of extra things we're now used to. Getting 3rd party apps for this phone takes a bitch and a half of effort because of that fact that it runs J2ME. The platform is too open, so there isn't one set app store, and some java apps don't even work on this phone because of all the customization Sprint has done on the OS. The web browser sucks, but Sprint's smart by bundling Opera Mini on the phone. For a phone that came out recently, it also lacks things that are a standard for smartphones, such as an accelerometer, wifi, built-in memory, etc.,etc.
