Detailed review
This is my first android phone and I'm still a bit stunned by the utter amazingness of the android operating system (been a symbian user since forever). It is so good in fact that I'm willing to put up with the mediocre design of this phone for the moment.

As everyone else has said the screen is indeed amazing. Touch is super accurate. Colours are amazing and it is quite usable even in direct sun light. Sound quality during phone calls is completely decent. By looking at the bars I would deduce that this has slightly poorer reception than my old Nokias but when actually making calls it drops them in the same places that other phones so it's probably just different ways of calculating what a bar actually represents. The built-in speaker is very good and it's completely possible to listen to podcasts through it when no other option is available.

The design of the thing is however very bad. Many people have commented that I finally bought an iphone and I've had to point out that its not an iphone. So it looks boring. Looking exactly like your rivals soon to be deprecated model is not a good thing. And it feels even worse. Compared to the Nokias I'm used to this is a complete joke. The phone feels like its made from recycled cookie containers held together with chewing gum. I do not feel confident that this will survive being dropped (which it will be sooner or later).

The hardware buttons for locking the screen and waking it from sleep feels like they have a couple of hundred pushes in them and then they will be dead.

Battery life is quite poor, if I listen to music or podcasts it won't last me a day. It is also very annoying that I can't uninstall the samsung crap/bloat-ware that comes preinstalled.

All in all it's still a good phone though.
