Let us say it again for emphasis -- both of these phones are really pretty, attract a ton of attention, fit great in the pocket and the hand, and sport displays that will simply knock your socks off. You won't be disappointed.

Unfortunately, the Fascinate (and perhaps the entire line of Galaxy S phones) are a byproduct of Google's ongoing fragmentation issues and seeming lack of focus for the Android platform.

The Samsung Captivate is easily AT&T's best Android offering to date, delivering great performance, tons of features, and an easy-to-use interface.

Samsung's Galaxy S phones, like the Fascinate on Verizon, represent everything that's good—and bad—about Android.

The Samsung Galaxy S is certainly a competitive device, with the Super AMOLED screen being a real star, making your content look sensational. It might not be constructed from premium materials like the iPhone 4 or the HTC Desire, but we like it all the same...

The strengths outweigh the drawbacks overall, though you may find yourself explaining more then once that no, this isn’t an iPhone, it’s something arguably just as good.

It certainly is the best Android package we've seen so far - a hearty Samsung welcome to all upgraders. We're not sure about Android newcomers, but anyone looking for the ultimate performance has almost no alternatives but the Galaxy S.

There are a few faults, but on the whole it's a cracking bit of kit, and you really could do a lot worse. You can't do much better for the price, put it that way.

Overall, the Vibrant is the best device that has ever hit T-Mobile. It’s not just the best Android phone to ever hit T-Mobile, it’s the best smartphone to ever grace the Magenta network.

I wholeheartedly recommend the Captivate to anyone on AT&T who doesn’t want an iPhone. Even if you love iOS products, I think you’ll be quite satisfied with this Galaxy S phone.
