Ultimately, it comes down to two factors: display size and network speed. If you like the larger screen and wouldn't mind taking advantage of some LTE goodness when it comes to your town, you likely won't go wrong by taking this Skyrocket for a flight.

The Skyrocket lives up to its name with solid performance and fast data speeds thanks to AT&T's 4G LTE network (if you're in a supported area). The phone's 4.5-inch display is extremely bright and clear, though its resolution isn't quite as high as the screens on some other recent phones (still, you're unlikely to be disappointed with the clarity of Netflix videos or Kindle books on the Skyrocket). While this phone is pocketable, that 4.5-inch display means it is relatively large. But it's lighter and thinner than some phones with smaller screens, making it a good choice for AT&T customers looking for 4G speeds and more room to play Angry Birds Space.

Bottom Line: The Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket offers blistering LTE data speeds, a massive screen, and very fast dual-core performance.
Read the full review →AT&T couldn't ask for a better phone to kick off its LTE network. The Skyrocket is a beautifully designed phone with all of the high-end features that Android power users have come to expect.
Read the full review →With its beautiful display, excellent camera, and super-fast 4G LTE speeds, the Skyrocket is a fantastic Android phone and our top pick for AT&T customers. While its large size may give those with small hands pause, we love its slim profile.
Read the full review →The Skyrocket stays faithful to the Galaxy S II line, offering the same (or better) performance and an identical user experience. AT&T still needs to work on its LTE network, but with a fast handoff and fast HSPA network speeds to fall back on, the casual user will be pleased with its speed on the...
Read the full review →I love this phone. It's beautiful and super fast...my LTE in Houston is crazy fast....and the phone performs. The only drawback has been battery performance, but that's probably because I can't put it down. :)
Read the full review →I love big phones, but I have to admit I went a little too far with my last one, the much-maligned Dell Streak, a mammoth 5-inch phablet that was far more useful as a mini-tablet than as a VERY LARGE phone. So, when it was time to upgrade to an LTE-capable model, I decided to go for something big...
Read the full review →I switched from an iPhone 3Gs and was a little off-put by Android, more specifically Samsung and AT&T's bastardization of Android. I was planning on returning it and waiting for the iPhone 5 but it grew on me. It's really effing fast, both the phone and LTE. I'm looking forward to loading up...
Read the full review →I prefer Samsung Android phones over others because of the general solid build quality and software works well now that Gingerbread is out. Phone is bigger but the screen is well worth the size although the design is bland but it is to be expected from Samsung. Love the LTE service on the phone...
Read the full review →I love this phone, a nice upgrade over my Nexus One. I knew going in that LTE connectivity and the 4.5" screen would gobble up my battery, and it sure does. I maybe get 12 hours on a full charge, which is ok, but I'm screwed if I'm out running around all day without my man-purse (happens often)....
Read the full review →For an true LTE phone from AT&T with the latest features and functionality the AT&T Samsung Galaxy S2 Skyrocket is indeed a good phone with no major issues or flaws.
Read the full review →The Galaxy SII Skyrocket is a wonderful new addition to AT&T. The LTE here is very fast and even on the HSPA+, the data is still farely fast. The display on this phone is gorgeous, and despite the phone having a large screen, the phone is rather light. It's slick design makes it great to hold...
Read the full review →This Phone is amazing. The only device I can suggest you get over this is the Galaxy Nexus, but if you are on at&t, this phone is without doubt, the way to go. If you aren't ready to convert to Android, then I suggest you pick up an iPhone 4S
