I use this for that 8 months. This is neither a phone not a full fledged tablet. Its just a fun device.
Its good for Emailing, and social networking, bad for phone calls.! It cannot be anyone's primary phone, unless s/he has a hulk's palm.
Battery life is poor, you must use a batter saving app (I use juice defender). Its over heating and making long duration call is a real pain. Never trust this one phone calls, the ergonomics is poor.
What is the good about it? The customization and the play store - thanks to Android and Play store. Samsung's UI is very good especially the video clarity. Phone is average, But you can trust it for quick and quality pictures.
Why needs this phone? Actually its not a must have phone for anyone. But, If you have excess money, travels a lot and like to have a lesser sized screen than a tablet (to use it in Bus/train etc) - this would be better than a tablet. My rating is 6, its above average, but doesn't excel. I think Its better to use a Phone and a Tablet, as Samsung has failed to create a new segment- Phablet! -
