Is the Galaxy Note international unlocked version supposed to connect with Wifi in North America?
details
Similar to a question from Erkudenon May 08, 2012, I also bought one from Amazon. It reconizes my home network but won't connect despite my entering the correct password. It keeps delivering an "authentication error" message. The reason I ask is I came across this in the Samsung GT-N7000 manual: "Your device uses a non-harmonised frequency and is intended for use in all European countries." Is that different from North America? It also says this: "connect to any wireless local area network... Read more →

Is the Galaxy Note international unlocked version supposed to work in North America?
details
I have just purchased the Galaxy Note -international unlocked version- from amazon.ca. I have transferred my SIM and SD cards from my Galaxy S Captivate. Everything worked perfectly (I was at home and using my own Wi-Fi network.) but today, on my way to work I decided to read an online newspaper to make my commute seem shorter and discovered that I could not connect to the Internet, although I have an unlimited data package with my server (Rogers in Canada) I stepped into one of Rogers stores in... Galaxy Note (w/ stock ICS) vs Galaxy Nexus
details
Hi everyone,
It appears that several developers are working hard at developing stock ICS for the Note, and they are nearly there with the newest release, MidNote, which has all (I believe) features working (ie. Camera and bluetooth unlike previous versions).
So I am deciding which phone to get.
I am switching from an iPhone 4, with a 3.X inch display (I think its 3.7), so it is quite a leap.
Go for Nexus and I get stock ICS and hopefully stock Jellybean and whatever else is thrown at us and full... Read more →

Applications and games not optimized for Galaxy Note ?
details
Hello Everyone, I just love the Samsung Galaxy Note, but I have read in a few reviews that the applications are not optimized for working with it because of the resolutions this phone has. So the UI experience is not good and this will be a great disappointment for the users.
Tell me is this true ?

Samsung Galaxy Note unlocked international version vs AT&T branded?
details
I've been wanting to buy this phone for a couple of weeks now, but before I press the checkout button I want to know a little bit more which version of the Galaxy Note is a lot better. In regards to the specs and hardware. I'd like to hear opinions of current owners. I'd like to know the pros and cons. Unlocked vs. the AT&T branded. This could really help me make the decision. Thanks.
