Is it durable as in will the screen break easily? How long does the battery last/Should i get an extended one? I used to have an iTouch is it hard to adjust to ICS? How is the Android Marketplace (are there good apps/are there lots of viruses)? Are there many good games?
Hey folks. just ditched my old iPhone for the Galaxy Nexus. Loving it so far but there are a few things that I'm confused about. 1) The 'recent apps' key - somebody explain the concept behind it. I have been searching for days for a specific product. I'm trying to find a simple, small, bluetooth remote control for a smartphone, and it doesn't seem like such a product exists. I have a car with bluetooth phone support, but not A2DP, so I've purchased a Tunelink to get music and podcasts to my car stereo, and I love it! I got my Galaxy Nexus last week and just yesterday I decided to try out my headset w/ mic to make a call. Since then I have not been able to make phone calls or play music. I did some searching and found out that my phone is stuck in headset mode. Podcasters, the Music app, all of them. For no reason, they just pause. This happens both while using headphones and on loudspeaker. Please let me know if you know about a fix. Thanks!
Verizon 32 GB. Talking to someone when suddenly the caller on the other end can't hear you. Started happening first at 20 minutes into a phone call and is now happening about one minute into the call.

I had a Galaxy Nexus for about two weeks but returned it because I was having issues with my phone and Verizon refused to swap it out. Anyone that has the 2100 mAh extended battery has probably figured out that most cases won't fit quite right. While most case makers won't make new cases to accommodate the battery, you can just take off the phone's back plate (the one that came with the battery since the stock plate is too tight a squeeze to keep on). I did that for my Incipio case and it fits just fine. Doesn't exactly cover the phone all that much, but adds the texture I need to hold onto the phone. Otherwise it's as slippery...

Backstory: I imported a GT-i9250 and have since dropped it.
