There's no question that the Focus 2 is a solid little handset, but we also have no doubt that when faced with a two-year agreement the Lumia 900 is still the best bang for your buck if you can pony up the extra $50.

The Samsung Focus 2 is a basic Windows Phone that supports AT&T's high-speed 4G LTE data network. It has a decent 5-megapixel camera, and a relatively small (4-inch), but reasonably sharp, display. At $50 with a two-year contract, it could have been a good deal for budget-minded Windows Phone fans if it had been released a few months ago. However, given that the Nokia Lumia 900, our Must Have Windows Phone, is often heavily discounted (we found it for as little as $40 with a two-year contract in late May), there's little reason to choose the Focus 2 instead.

The bottom line: A generously low $50 price tag pumps up the value on the Windows Phone Samsung Focus 2, which has a satisfying range of features and support for LTE speeds.
Read the full review →The Focus 2's biggest problem is Nokia—specifically, the stellar Lumia 900, a Windows Phone with a larger and more vibrant screen, 16GB of internal storage, and a slimmer and classier design, all for the same price as the Focus 2.
Read the full review →The Samsung Focus 2 is a compact and user-friendly Windows Phone that offers 4G LTE speeds at an affordable price. However, it's not the best deal for AT&T shoppers.
Read the full review →The Samsung Focus 2 is a very tidy device, and ... anyone who purchases it won’t be disappointed, especially those who require long battery life. That said, if a great camera or a big, high-res screen are in your list of must-haves, look elsewhere.
Read the full review →We have to say, at $49.99 with a 2-year contract, the Samsung Focus 2 isn’t that bad of a smartphone ... Strengthening its value, we love that it sports an adorable design, equipped with 4G LTE connectivity, and offers that casual Windows Phone experience like everything else before it.
Read the full review →The Samsung Focus 2 is a baseline Windows Phone that is very capable of meeting your day to day smartphone needs. It's well constructed, has a quality screen, respectable battery life, and an attractive price tag.
Read the full review →What Samsung have done with the I667 instead, is to create a well-balanced and cleverly priced device to keep the competition on its toes. Unsurprisingly, it is a task well executed.
Read the full review →The Focus 2 isn't designed to be one of AT&T's high-end phones. Instead, it's designed to be a budget-friendly and feature-rich smartphone. If you're looking for a good Windows Phone smartphone ... the Focus 2 is definitely a smartphone to consider.
Read the full review →There's nothing flashy about the Focus 2 and it doesn't have the navigation apps of the Nokia Lumia 900, but it's one of the more comfortable phones on the market and has a form factor that hits that size sweet spot.
Read the full review →The Samsung Focus 2 is a worthy successor to the original Focus from 2010, but I don't think it really does enough to make a dent in today's smartphone market.
