A lot of people are starting to get sick of the hullaballoo surrounding the iPhone, and they want to try something a little different. The Captivate has better social-networking links than the iPhone, a more customizable home screen, free voice-guided navigation, and that ... Super AMOLED screen.

The Samsung Captivate is easily AT&T's best Android phone to date. It delivers great performance, tons of features, and an easy-to-use interface.

If you’re an active social networker and video watcher, the Captivate probably makes a better choice than the iPhone 4 ... If you’re more concerned with speedy Web surfing, image and video capture, and video chatting, the iPhone 4 is the only choice.

This is Samsung’s first serious play at a high-end, top-of-the-line Android smartphone, and it is a great start. In our opinion the Samsung Captivate would make a great smartphone for those who are new to the world of Android or those who aren’t Android purists.

It's fast, has a stunning display and above average battery life, plus it's super thin and also quite light. Samsung has also made a lot of enhancements to Android to make it more customizable and easier to navigate.

The Samsung Galaxy S range is amazing, but what I like about the Captivate more is its looks. It has a better quality build feel and look than the plasticy feel and look of the i9000. Overall excellent phone, and full featured. Battery life on original ROM isn't as good but that is easily...

During a call, my friends told me they feel like they are with me.. Your friends can hear all the noise that surrounds you. GPS sucks. Battery life sucks. Except those, this phone is great!

I really love the swype keyboard! There's a few apps I'm missing from iOS, some of which will likely come to Android soon. I'm very happy to have full integration with Google Voice for outgoing calls! I just wish the battery would last a bit longer. I didn't rate on media...
