When I bought this phone, I was looking for a phone that had a really good camera so I wouldn't have to carry two devices. I didn't really care for any smartohone features. The ads for this phone promised a great touch interface, an advanced 5mp camera and full html web browsing. Sounded great to me. I've had it for a year now and I'll tell you this much, I cannot wait until my 2 year contract is up. The touch screen is the clunkiest I've ever used. You gotta press hard on this thing for it to work. Misspressing a button you did not intend to is very easy to do; sometimes I have to enter a number in 2 or 3 times for it to register my presses correctly. Who knows, maybe my fingers are too big. Scrolling through long lists: a pain; very slow and does not seem to register a "flick" consistently. The camera is the best part of the phone. It takes good pictures in daylight or brightly lit scenes. However, the flash tends to just wash everything in white when taking night shots, so people look kinda pale. One other things regarding the camera is that it is slow. You got to tell people to hold there pose for a couple of seconds to properly take a picture, so it is very difficult to use with kids. To be honest though, when I look back at all the pictures I have taken, they do look a lot better than your average 1.3 mp camera phone pictures. They also print great. The internet? Forget it. The processor is too slow when rendering websites, and the screen is too small to pan around pages. Forgot to mention the voice and messaging features. Voice is fine; works like any other phone. Messaging is not fun because of the bad touch screen.
