Detailed review
the Pro version is nice compared with the Atom version. the i5 CPU makes a huge difference, as does 4gb of ram. would be nice if it was upgradeable, but max is 4gb. concerned that the keyboard connectors may not last. already on the second one because the 1st one was loose causing windows to think it was disconnecting, and it seems like a weak point. overall the ability to use this as either a laptop or a tablet is great. the touchscreen seems to work well, and is a bonus to have in a Windows 8 laptop. don't upgrade the BIOS until they fix a glitch which makes you have to push the Vol-Up button part way thru the boot process in order to boot in low light situations.

pros:
battery life is pretty good...6-8 hours normal usage. slightly less watching movies etc
decent performance - graphics good
full windows 8 - runs all windows programs + microsoft store
nice screen - full 1080 makes a difference. movies look great

cons:

keyboard connector seems weak, returned it once to replace already
a little on the heavy side, especially for a tablet. also large for a tablet.
usb port covers that are hard to open and seem like they might not last
can't expand RAM beyond 4GB
