Which 4g phone should I buy?
details
I have AT&T with a grandfathered unlimited data plan but prefer Verizon's performance. I am using an iphone 3gs. Itunes frakked my music collection and I hate it. I need Exchange support, though we do have a BES in house. Security is the most important. Had a BB curve a couple of years ago it was SOOOooo Slow and I had to pull the battery so often, I installed the battery puller app.

I wanted to buy myself an iPhone, but then I saw the advert. of Samsung Galaxy Nexus on the tv and I started wondering wich phone is better? I know they are hardly comparable because of the different OS they are using. But wich of the phones would you prefer to have or already have?

Samsung Galaxy S II or Samsung Focus S?
details
I'm really torn between these two devices. I love the both of them and the features they offer. One thing is itching at me though, do I want the Galaxy S II so I can tinker with it? I'm really not sure.
So put yourself in my position, with love of both of the devices with a focus on tinkering, WP7's fluid UI and Music player and Android's accessibility on Linux [it's what I boot into most days, but I do have Windows for gaming and such]. While I know a bit about Android right now, I've really... Read more →

What is the best tablet to use for PowerPoint presentations?
details
[I would prefer an Android-based tablet since I'm already familiar with that platform.]

By "best tablet" I mean, which is the most reliable and intuitive device for running PowerPoint? What about connecting the tablet to a projector? Do they all have mini HDMI? Of course I wouldn't be designing the presentations on the tablet, simply running them.

Thoughts? Any help is appreciated!

Is Nexus Prime's glass display virtually shatterproof?
details
Think about it... the phone probably has a hard plastic bezel. Combined with a curved display, I would imagine its virtually impossible for the glass to make direct contact with a flat surface.
Sure, with enough force the energy can transfer to the glass a number of ways to shatter it. But I'm thinking the display is probably protected from MOST everyday falls. Thoughts? How does this theory pan out with the Nexus S?
PS: I'm only interested in discussing shatter from everyday drops. I'm sure we're...

Why is the Samsung Mobile Unpacked Event not happening on Oct. 11?
details
Samsung and Google decide to postpone the new product announcement at CTIA Fall. they say "it is just not the right time to announce a new product".

Is it because they are cooking something competitive due the state of the market (a new iPhone in the neighborhood) or they are just being respectful due to the death of Steve Jobs?

Maybe I'm just being lazy and I'm getting carried away with conspiracy theories. Whats on your mind?

Why are smartphone manufacturers omitting the notification LED?
details
There seems to be new trend among some manufacturers of (Android smartphones) omitting the notification LED. Particularly Samsung (ie. the Galaxy S II and the Nexus S) seems to have done away with them entirely it seems. I had the HTC Nexus One and I loved how the phone had the lighted trackball which could be used for missed call/message indications. Along with the trackball there was a charging LED indicator at the top of the screen which was handy as well.
