Eminently configurable keys and a surprisingly useful analog stick make the Cyborg Command Unit one of the nicer gaming pads we've seen, but it's still a matter of personal taste whether it can or should replace your keyboard.

The Command Unit looks and feels as though it was designed for FPS players, and that's where I found it had the most use. Switching weapons using the number keys was incredibly easy and much faster than using a full keyboard.

Hardcore gamer? Have a need to create insane macros to get the job done? Saitek's "Cyborg" Command Unit delivers! Although the hardware itself leaves a bit to be desired, the included software offers the ability to create numerous long macros to help you get the job done.

This game pad is a solid device, and would work well in the hands of any professional gamer, and make their wannabes feel that much more special.
