I know there was an app for Windows that let you view texts, contacts, emails, etc. that were on a BlackBerry backup (the name's escaping me right now)... but it a) was only a 14 day demo b) unable to purchase beyond that because the company stopped supporting it c) I'm on a Mac now. So, my question is: is there any way to access/read what's on my .ipd file? Thanks!
I just got a new RIM BB 9630. I charged the phone for several hours but the battery LED (near to the top right corner) still slowly blinking in orange/red color. Do you know how long for a normal full charge of the BB 9630? Does the LED would turn GREEN when the battery is full? I tried to get these pieces of info in the manual but I could not. Thanks for any help, ggfantx
I must be missing something - it looks like I have my vibration turned aff according to my settings, but it still vibrates EVERY TIME I get an email, and I get toooo many. Any suggestions on what to check? BTW I have the sprint Tour and Im about to update to the new OS via the desktop software. I also have gmail mobile app installed as well.
I understand there is a 5.0 software update for the Tour. Anyone know if it's available, and how to load it onto the phone. Thx for the help. ccmainiac1
Can anyone tell me what the latest OS version is for the Tour? I'm having serious volume issues with bluetooth headsets, and its been suggested to me at the crackberry forums that this may have been fixed in an OS update. http://forums.crackberry.com/showthread.php?p=4451... Unfortunately, my company seems to be blocking updates since I havn't seen any in my desktop manager since launch, or perhaps there havn't been any. Help?
Okay, I know a SMS is 160 characters, but on my previous Verizon phone (Motorola Q) I was able to compose text messages longer than 160 characters, and the phone would automatically break them up into several 160 char messages and send them. On my Tour (still Verizon) I can receive multi-part SMSs, but can't send them--I'm strictly limited to 160 characters. I am new to BBs, but it seems like I should be able to do this. Anyone have anything?
Has anyone else seen this? For some reason Google Maps on the Tour doesn't use the GPS so it will not zero in on your location. It's forced to only use cell towers which give about a 2500 meter radius or so. Does anyone know when Google will fix this???
So my mom and sister just got this device and when they install the little bookmark/launcher apps from NY TImes and MLB.com they get this weird error that doesnt launch the web page. I will get more detail soon, but any idea as to what that could be?
