Okay. Understand that I got a buggy BlackBerry Tour. Verizon's sending me a new one on Monday which, hopefully, will have the bugs fixed. But never mind all of that: I love this smart phone. It's a remix of the best features of the rest of the BlackBerry line, and the call quality is just...

With a winning design and fast performance, the RIM BlackBerry Tour 9630 is one of Verizon Wireless' top smartphones for both business users and messaging fanatics.

The Tour clearly borrows a lot from the Bold and Curve 8900, but introduces a few changes here and there to mix it up, like a one-sided external speaker and new battery door style, but overall it will be a familiar experience for those who have used a traditional BlackBerry.

OK I tried the Storm, and I didn't like it. Now I am trying the Tour and I am leaning to not liking as well. My problem is that I want a phone that does everything, and Blackberries have a purpose, and that's more for a professional, than a casual user. A professional user does not...

When you first see this phone lined up next to the others on the display rack it pulls you in. The sleek glossy black, darkened sliver bezel, and black track ball gives this device a refined look that is attractive for both business and personal use. Things I like: - OS 4.7, this is a...

Definitely the best BB ever made in my book. They took the powerful BB Storm and put it into the traditional format that we are all used to. However, with its initial load on 4.7.1 it does have some quirks. I have the Sprint version but I'm told the Verizon one has these same issues....

I have been a WinMo user for about four years now. Having used it so long I kind of got used to expecting my device to run real slow & eventually crap out on me at least once a day. My best friends all have been using BlackBerry devices for a long while now. So, I decided to jump on the...

I've had the BlackBerry Tour for 3 weeks now and it has performed flawlessly. Although I had considered waiting for the Storm 2, primarily for its its touch screen ability, I do not regret getting the Tour, and it seems more durable than the Storm 2 would be. The phone itself, seems to have...

I upgraded from the Curve to the 9630. this model blows the Curve out of the water. It is fast, generally easy to use and very stable. The Half VGA display is very sharp and crisp. It is much more customizable than the Curve. I have not used it internationally but I plan to. Negatives: The...

This is my first smartphone, I had to upgrade from a motorola razr v3c. I could do alot of things with it.(move files via bluetooth to and from my mac without additional software) this feature will not work with the tour. I find myself charging this thing more often than other phones. The...

I do wish there were more apps available, but I know that will be come more prevalent as time goes on. I've found apps to satisfy my smart phone needs except for an affordable vnc app. There's one out there but its $30. It's great to know that I have a higher resolution than the...

Had the Pearl, had the Curve, didn't like either as much as the Tour. In addition to looking much better with the new screen & faster web browsing, it's overall a much more responsive user experience. Another welcome addition is the RIM app store. It's still somewhat anemic...

Being my first smart phone, it took me a while to realize the full potential that the Tour could offer a small business owner. There were a few times within the first couple weeks that had me second guessing my choice. Loading up the phone with apps before researching whether they were...

I've had just about every Blackberry that Verizon has carried since the old blue blob. I went with the physical keyboard over the Storm2 and I don't regret it. Some of my friends have the Storm2 and they've been frustrated with their ability to type rapidly. The browser is...

As a former owner of the 8830, I am quite pleased with my new Tour. The positives: it has a camera (I didn't realize how much I'd miss a camera when purchasing the 8830), good amount of storage space for a basic user, sleek design, easy to use track ball and keypad. The negatives: no...

I first purchased the BlackBerry Tour around 6 months ago shortly following its release. From the moment I opened the box, I could see that it was going to be all I wanted and more. The functionality and usefulness of the email, browser, IM, phone, and of course apps make this phone/ever...
