Detailed review
The only thing I have good to say about this phone is the sound quality.
They keyboard is not easy to type on, it is extremely slow moving between apps, managing contacts and calendar events is a pain, and the browser experience makes me feel like I am using Internet Explorer 3.0. The is by far the worst Blackberry I have ever had.
We have two of these in our office and the other user can't stand it either.
I like having a PIN lock on my phone, but this thing is so slow to unlock, that it can take a full 10 seconds from the time I enter my pin until the time it unlocks. Not good when I am in a meeting and trying to look at my calendar to see if a time slot is free.
Also, moving the track ball is VERY slow. Many times a day I highlight an app, click the ball to open it, only to discover that the screen hadn't caught up with my trackball movement yet and I end up opening an app that was two icons away. I have to pause for a couple of seconds when the app is highlighted before I click to make sure I'm really on the right app. Most of the time it is not so I have to scroll back once the trackball selection catches up.
I frequently end up with duplicate contacts for no reason and changes I make on the device don't sync properly.
Managing calendar events on the device is so painful that I just write them on paper until I have a chance to enter them on my computer and sync them to my phone.
