I have an unlocked Bold 9000 - which was on Vodafone. I am now trying to use it on the "Three" network. Most things work but not all things work. Is there a way of downloading the "Three" settings so it works better.
My mute switched crapped out, which meant I had to switch back to OS 4.6 for a while, since 5.0 requires the Mute button to unlock the phone (and I have to lock it, since it's in my pocket most of the day). I was able to repair it by taking off the back cover and the backplate (with 6 small torx screws), and spraying a little electronic contact cleaner under the switch. I noticed on some days my phone alarm wouldn't go off, or when playing music it would be really soft. So after some quick searching online I found out that quite a few people have this problem. I was wondering if anyone else had this problem and what they did to solve it. Thanks Lax p.s I ordered a new midplate after opening it up (after buying some t5 screwdrivers, damn the phone makers)
I have tried the tutorials on other sites for American Cell companies, but they never seem to work on Rogers. Is it possible to use my Bold as a modem with this provider? Thanks, -Ubi
