About six months ago I asked gdgt users whether they preferred streaming services like Spotify, RDIO, and Rhapsody, or locker services like Google Music and Amazon Cloud Player (http://gdgt.com/question/poll-music-lockers-or-st... I'm not holding out hope that someone will combine the two in any meaningful way (i.e. a service where I can stream anything from their catalog and also upload any music of mine that's missing), so what I really want is something...

It's been a long time coming -- but more of my friends are using Spotify now and I feel that Rdio's desktop and mobile apps could be a lot better. Plus, they've poorly transitioned to iOS 5 (tons of bugs and constantly losing my storage).
Has anyone who has been a paid subscriber of Rdio made the switch over to a paid Spotify account? What do you think? Is it worth it?
I am currently using Spotify solely because they have PayPal payment support, but Rdio says they'll have that soon, if they get it, should I switch? It look to be a much more attractive service.
I've been noticing an increasing number of friends and coworkers passing around links to share their playlists (and favorite albums) in Spotify. It's interesting to see -- but as someone who's been a fan of Rdio since before Spotify's U.S. release (honestly, I'm not trying to pull some sort of hipster street cred card), it's frustrating. I've long thought Rdio's execution and service is better (though they don't offer a generous free component like Spotify does). So, what gives? How come you're...

I've been using my Sonos to play music from Rdio. A nice feature that Rdio natively supports is the ability to scrobble music to Last.FM. I'm a huge stats junky, so it's cool to see what sort of music I've liked over the last week, last month, or last year. It's kind of interesting to see how my musical tastes have changed over time! While playing music through a Sonos unit this weekend, I noticed that music played through Rdio wasn't scrobbling. Is this normal? Is it something related to the...
Been having this weird popup that won't go away in Rdio (both the web app and desktop app) on OS X. Basically, a Flash popup appears that says I need to approve the Rdio flash app for more storage space. Only I can't click the "approve" or "deny" buttons. If I close out the popup, it immediately reappears. I can still listen to music, but I can't really navigate around the interface.
It sounds like Spotify is finally wrapping up some deals with various record labels that will allow them to launch in the United States sometime in the near future (we heard this in early 2010 as well). Initially, I was quite excited about this service -- it sounded like exactly what I was looking for: great interface, pretty decent (and growing) music library, ability to create playlists and listen to any music on demand, mobile apps (with offline syncing abilities). Then, at the end of this...
