Sure, the Imperator was built for gamers, but it happens to be one of our top picks when it comes to good old fashioned comfort.

What makes this my favorite Razer mouse yet is the grip, combined with the solid sensor and tracking they've used for a few mice now. Is it worth $80? My answer's the same as it always for gaming mice: If you think so.

Razer’s newest is more right-hand-oriented than ever and has a couple extra buttons. But while it may fit some hands better than the Death Adder, I don’t think it’s a definite improvement. That said, it’s worth a look if you haven’t found “your” mouse yet.

The Razer Imperator may not offer as many features as some other hardcore gaming mice, but it's one of the most comfortable models we've ever used, and it offers great performance. Plus, it looks a treat.

Considering the cost, the Imperator is a more serious beast, and the macro limitation hurts it, leading us to suggest you look to other gaming mice in the same price range.

If you're as infuriated by poorly placed thumb buttons as we are then the Imperator is a breath of fresh air. There's plenty of software-based configuration too. The only significant bone of contention is that other good mice ... cost around £10 less and boast similar features.

While the Imperator appears to have all the credentials necessary for a gaming mouse, it is not entirely without fault. Because I'm generally a glass half full kind of guy, I'm going to go into the faults first of all. First, the tracking. Higher DPI does result in more jumpy tracking on many...

The Razer Imperator is a bit tricky to review, since there are multiple versions (generations as razer like to call them) of it, mine is the 4G with "6400dpi 4G Dual Sensor System" and adjustable lift-off distance, a feature that a lot of the previous reviews gripe about being missing or not...

Mine has quit working, well its sketchy it will work for a while then completely disappear from the computer only to come on randomly ( I think it is the connection or the cord where it enters the mouse.

I suggest avoiding this mouse. Although specs are attractive, if you're hardcore gamer, there are better choices, such as SteelSeries, Cyborg RAT, or CM Storm. This mouse (at least the one I've got) suffers from occasional disconnects. About once every gaming session. You'd need to reconnect the...

This is not an ambidextrous mouse, it's right-handed. The buttons click very nicely and the clickable area is large (I mean it doesn't get harder to press if your fingers move away from the "right" place to click it). There are buttons on the mouse to adjust the sensitivity,...

A good mouse, when it works. After less than 6 months of use, I got the dreaded double-click problem. I've opened it up to clean it, which fixed the problen for a while, then it came back in less than a month. This time the problem stayed even after I cleaned it again. This is my third Razer...
