Detailed review
Everyone knows that Razer is known for their ultimate gaming products. They provide that edge for that hardcore gamer to be better then the best. With the release of the Razer DeathAdder they definitely accomplished that "edge". The DeathAdder in simplest terms is that its Razer's Masterpiece when it comes to its gaming mouse line. Since the Release of the DeathAdder there have been 2 other mice released under the Razer brand. They can't even be compared either. It may be "outdated" now, but the DeathAdder is still at the top of its game.
The DeathAdder has a top DPI of 1800. Other gaming mice have been released since with DPI's past 4k but its just not necessary. Most gamers only need 1,000dpi or lower anyways. Razer got smart with the DPI button on the mouse this time since the release of the copperhead people would accidentally switch between DPI's because of the placement of the button for it. However on the DeathAdder the button is on the bottom of the mouse so that you know for sure when you want to change between DPI profiles. Making your Gaming experience flawless.
Next is the shape of the mouse. The way your hand will grip it is perfect for gaming. There are actually 3 different ways to grip it too. It's a great mouse to be using if your a hardcore gamer going to be playing for hours at a time, or even if your just playing for 20 minutes in your free time. Anyone using this mouse will be able to tell the difference.
Now when it comes to the movement. Using it on a cloth mouse pad or a hard top mouse pad it doesn't really matter. It glides across with ease and with no problems. The only time I've had problems with it moving across the pad you just have to blow a little bit into its infrared laser hole and it will push any dust out blocking it (which happens to all gadgets sooner or later). Though when buying a DeathAdder your going to probably want to end up getting one of the Razer Zone's large mouse pads, because you will want the extra freedom to move around with it. Small mouse pads just don't work with it.
So Overall, I say get the DeathAdder if your that gamer looking for an edge over your competition. It's great for First Person Shooters and that 1800DPI will definitely come in handy for those RPG lovers out there too.
If your just going to be browsing the web with it or playing endless hours with it. You can be assured that it will be last long. I've had a Razer DeathAdder for almost 2 years. And one word to describe it is. "Irreplaceable".
For now.
