Razer has just added support for the DeathAdder to the Synapse software. It solves my main issues with the old DeathAdder software, with a much better interface, and allowing much finer control of DPI. Also syncs your profiles and preferences over the internet.
So this viral video by Razer is floating around the internet claiming "PC gaming is not dead" and that something exciting is coming on 8.26.11. Any guesses as to what they plan on announcing? The company recently announced the "revolutionary" first true 7.1 gaming headset but they did also show off that Switchblade prototype a while ago.... Does that even count as PC gaming? First of, it is cool. The lighting/audio effect and detachable numpad are very cool. Nicely weighted. Deep black gloss, attract finger prints but because of it is very black... finger prints are not too noticeable. Every keys can be program, so i can switch "s" key to be "t" key. The macro settings are very useful when you play lots of button-smashing games. Instead of pressing a key repeatedly, you can assign macro to do it for you. Keys actuation is very fast and...

After a year of use the tracking became super jittery and even caused the point to move on it's own. My experience with this product always felt as if it was almost good. It almost preformed as well as the other mice out there, the size of the mouse was almost perfect, the button placement was almost in the right spot, and the in game software was great... in concept. This mouse had HUGE potential and they over designed it. Razer's customer service is a joke as well. I had to contact...

These headphones break easily. The clips that hold the cups broken twice on me. Once, Razer sent a new headset. The second time, they wouldn't repair the headset.
It sounds like they have a similar feel to keyboards with Cherry MX blue switches like on the Das keyboards or the Filco ones, if not the same switch. Combined with the macro keys, the backlighting, USB port, mic and headphone ports, this might be an awesome keyboard. I can't wait to get this in to try it out.
The scroll wheel started squeaking really bad after a month of use which other users have experienced. I had the Deathadder before this and also had a problem with the scroll wheel. Overpriced and poor quality issues will prevent me from buying another product from them anytime soon.
I lost my trusted old, EP-630s on Easter and found them soaked and broken in the street in front of my house on Monday. I'm using my Nokia headset for music listening but they only seem to work on my phone. I'm thinking of just buying another set of 630s, but I am also considering trying another pair of headphones. Nothing to fancy, as I'm no great audiophile. Another options is a more broadly compatible headset. Like EP-630i, Razer Moray or Moray+ or something else. I'd like...
I understand why a gaming specific keyboard can be practical and useful to a gaming experience on a PC but I've never understood how a mouse is beneficial. Since I've started gaming again on my PC I've just been using a generic mouse with nothing special. If my gaming picks up into something beyond RTS would a gaming specific mouse be beneficial? Would it even be beneficial while playing a RTS like Starcraft 2?
Mousepads are quite important for some of the peripheral makers that I have tagged and have several series of it along with their keyboards. Shouldn't there be a mousepad section as well?
It's been quite quiet regarding the Switchblade - not much information about it after its announcement at CES 2011. Does anyone know or have any idea about the launch date?
(specifically Sanyo Eneloop batteries) Would there be anything I'd need be worried about if I do? I just got this and am still on the original in box alkaline batteries!!
I've heard about people having issues with the mouse waking up from sleep but for me this is all the time. Anyone have any ideas for a fix or should I return this mouse for a new one?
I have one of the old style three prong headsets from Microsoft and I plan on keeping it. However, in all the images of the Onza I've seen, it would appear as though there is only the single 2.5 mm jack. If anyone's seen the prototypes, is this true? Has Razer said anything about this?
Has anyone who owns these had problems getting them to work properly when you plug them in with a extra keyboard or game pad? For some reason when I plug in my zboard or my 360 controller the megalodons shut off and the zboard and controller refuse to be recognized unless i unplug the megalodons. So far this is only tested with Windows 7 gaming laptops like the Asus G51j-A1.
I got my mouse after getting CrossOver Games on my mac and installed Counterstrike: Source. I can't figure out how to use/program the 9 buttons on the mouse. Normal functionality like left/right click and the scroll wheel work but beside that I can't get any other buttons to do anything. I tried the Mac OS X Driver v1.6.8 on their website http://www.razersupport.com/index.php?_m=downloads... but it doesn't seem to help. I have the the lastest...
