The Anansi functions dutifully as an everyday typing machine and capably as an MMO-branded keyboard. While it doesn't have the cool LCDs of the Logitech-branded gamer keyboards or the WoW-centric feel of the Steelseries SHIFT, the Razer Anansi is a solid keyboard that does the MMO thing right.

The Razer Anansi keyboard has a perfect balance of buttons and features that come in a functional package.

A good keyboard for macro and shortcut lovers, but lacks ports and originality, making it fall short of a recommendation.

The Anansi has a thin profile but is long enough (including two seemingly unnecessary wings) that it could accommodate a few more keys.

The Razer Anansi is a high quality gaming keyboard which performs well with a lovely typing experience. It looks great alongside other Razer products such as the Naga mouse and combined with that product creates a great MMO enhancing experience.

Pairing the Anansi with a Naga mouse makes it even more expensive, but if you take your Azerothian skull-cracking seriously, the Anansi is a great place to start introducing high-level control customisation and macro mastery.

The annoyances add up over time, and so do the great features. ... the Anansi is a good keyboard with plenty of room for improvement. I look forward to the Anansi V2, whenever it comes around.

In the end, the Anansi MMO Keyboard is a fine upgrade for anyone looking to get off of their basic Dell stock KB. It has quite a decent set of features, customization, and a gorgeous look to boot.
