I've got the A03 firmware version of the 2407, been incredibly happy with it. Last night I tried to attach a Xbox 360 to the monitor via component cables. The monitor syncs with the Xbox at 720p for less than a second, then goes black and locks up the hard buttons on the monitor. 1080i does not sync with the 2407, and 480p did not work in the same way that 720p did not.
Funny thing, if I view the component feed via PiP, I can see the 720p output from the Xbox 360! Switching to full screen causes the problem above to re-appear.
Wish I had known this about the monitor when I bought it, as people did complain about A02 firmware having issues with component ports. Since the A02 to A03 firmware release reportedly just dealt with OSD issues, I wonder if the component issues with A02 crept into A03?
Many people recommend connecting Xbox 360 to 2407 via VGA cable, then you can get 1080p when you reduce sharpness to less than 30? I've ordered that cable, but disappointed that component doesn't seem to work with Xbox 360.
Question about
Xbox 360 not working over component
Way late, but I just tested this with my own since it's sitting right in front of me and I don't have any issues with the Xbox 360 connected to my 2407 over the component connection.

VGA is the only way to go for a 360 on this monitor. I had similar issues until I made the switch. Keep in mind though the picture will look terrible if you sit close to it, this monitor will expose every little flaw.
