Would you be interested in a 7-inch Honeycomb tablet?

Huawei just announced a new 7-inch tablet running Android 3.2 (3.2?!) due for release later this year.

For those that have been using Honeycomb on a 10-inch device, could you see yourself using it on a 7-inch device?

I don't really understand when people ascribe an inherent "good" or "bad" to a certain size for a device. It really depends on the person and how that person is going to use it.

For me, I bought a 10" tablet for reading comic books, so a 7" tablet just isn't big enough for the text and for taking in the art. But someone else might want a more portable tablet, which I think the 7" size provides.

My hesitation would be with the brand. I just don't get good vibes from Huawei, who I tend to think of as a low-quality manufacturer.

I can definitely see myself using it on that size of device. I have been doing a lot of reading on my Galaxy Tab 10.1 and I feel as if 7 inches is a great crossover size for enhanced web browsing compared to a phone but also better for a number of other tablet apps without being too small.

I have to admit, I was intrigued when I saw the announcement this morning. I just don't like the size of 10" tablets. The only ones that have really grabbed my attention are the 7" Galaxy Tab and the Nook Color. Seeing a 7" with some real horsepower and a current Android makes me wish I had disposable income. :)

I definitely would consider one. I recently switched back to my NookColor over the Xoom I was using because it felt more comfortable. However I think I would wait until ICS because I still don't think 3.1 is that great, especially in portrait mode which is how I choose to use my tablet.

7" seems like a really nice, more compact, durable form factor. I could use it for myself and give the kids the iPad...

Between a 4" phone and a 10" ipad I don't really see the need for a 7" device.
