Would anyone recommend this camera over a Canon G12 or Canon S100?
I wouldn't recommend the X10. It's too expensive for what it is. For that style of camera, I'd rather go with an X100 or wait for the X-Pro 1. The G12 is about to be replaced by the G1X, so I'd wait for that if you were going in that direction. The S100 is a different price bracket, so it really comes down to your budget and preferred style.
