Win7

installed win7 and it's not usable. Pen, wireless, side controls, display setting are all not working right. I guess I need to look around and see if I can find new drivers.

That's bold! This thing seems way underpowered to run Windows 7.

Agree with jaysire though. Sometimes, it really is worth it to just let something go the way of the dodo.

Um, I think I installed Linux on mine about 5 years ago. Sometimes it's just time to buy new tech, no matter how often this particular model is featured on 24 and CSI ;) I stopped using mine a couple of years ago, but it was a great gadget while it lasted.

I had one until it died. It could barely run XP. The fact that Win7 would even deem the hardware capable is a shocker to me.
