Will we see an update to the Apple TV on Oct 4th?
Ever since the 2nd gen Apple TV was introduced and people figured out it was running iOS underneath, people have speculated that Apple would eventually do something significant with it. Gaming perhaps using iOS handheld devices as controllers. Or an app store for the Apple TV allowing you to install say Hulu Plus on your Apple TV. Yet usually when Apple holds an event they barely mention the Apple TV, continuing to call it a "hobby". Do you think they're going to do something this time, and if so what?
I think we will if nothing else it will be based on iOS 5. it will also have a couple more applications and have Bluetooth enabled. Will be able to pair the Magic TrackPad. For Apps I'm thinking Twitter with popup notifications that will need to be turned off. Maybe an NFL application.
