Will this work on the iPad?

I am not planning on running down the street with the iPad in a giant arm band. But What if running on a treadmill, I could use it to track my run and watch videos on the large display.

Even if you have to use the receiver like on the nano.

I doubt this will work but just curies.

That would actually be pretty cool if it did. I use my 3GS to run with the kit now.

Say it with me everyone: "Sounds like a 2G feature!" Great point though. Of course you need "multitasking" if you want to do anything but listen to music.

iPod touch didn't support nike+ until the 2nd gen. I don't think the iphone did until the 3GS...

While it may be possible to use the nike+ sensor dongle with the iPad (like with an ipod) I highly doubt that the nike+ sensor made it into the iPad as standard equipment as it has with the 3GS and iPod Touch.

Even if it did, the nike+ site (which is terrible IMO and often times complained about in their forums) relies on Flash so all the charting and challenges would be lost on the iPad.
