Will this phone have a locked bootloader?

An article from Android Central (www.androidcentral.com/moto-employee-confirms-lock...) states that a Motorola employee stated that it will be locked down. I've read a few discussions since then saying there's a possibility it will not be locked, but nothing confirmed. So as far as I know, yes, the Droid Bionic will come with a locked bootloader.

If the bootloader is locked please keep in mind this does not mean that the phone will be un-rootable (is that a word)? With a phone as anticipated as the Bionic I'm sure there will be more than enough people working to get thing rooted.

I can say for sure, as stated by another answer, that it does have a locked bootloader. I spoke with a Motorola rep about it and he confirmed that it does ship with a locked bootloader.
As far as other information on the unlocking of bootloaders on Motorola devices, the reps were quite coy about it, and would only repeat what we have heard before: that Motorola will release more information by the end of the year.
