Will the Mac Mini take the ram modules from an iMac?
I've upgrade the memory in my iMac and a friend is looking to upgrade the ram in his mini. Will my iMac memory be compatible in his mini?
According to the Apple Store the answer is "No". They use different form factors for memory.

I think it actually depends on the model of Mac mini and iMac. I'd suggest using the www.crucial.com memory selector to see if your machines' memory match up!

The earlier models used "desktop" size RAM, but later models accepted "notebook" sized RAM like the ones used in iMacs and the MacBook lines. Definitely check out memory selectors on Crucial or other memory providers.
