Question about
Will at&t carry the Galaxy Nexus?
Very good question, and one a lot of people are dying to know. The Galaxy Nexus has support for every US carrier (I think), but Google/Samsung made it sound like they are going to release it to the carriers with highest demand. Definitely Verizon, probably AT&T. Only time will tell.

I was poking around the Samsung site and I'm going to guess that this phone will be a timed exclusive on verizon likes it's predecessor the Nexus S was. The form for more information now referes to the phone as "the Galaxy Nexus from Verizon Wireless."

This is not good news for android fans on AT&T, like myself. Believe it or not, I wouldn't jump to Verizon even if I was off contract. I do really want to get my hands on a more pure Android experience than I have on the Samsung Captivate that I've been running, so perhaps I need to evaluate either sitting on my upgrade token or looking closely at the Nexus S as an option.

Another Android fan here who is hot for the Galaxy Nexus, on AT&T and not willing to go to Verizon. I'd be happy to buy the AT&T compatible version outright. I'm guessing an official AT&T version, subsidized by a contract won't happen until summer 2012 anyway. That's about how long it took the Nexus S to arrive.
