Samsung and Google decide to postpone the new product announcement at CTIA Fall. they say "it is just not the right time to announce a new product".
Is it because they are cooking something competitive due the state of the market (a new iPhone in the neighborhood) or they are just being respectful due to the death of Steve Jobs?
Maybe I'm just being lazy and I'm getting carried away with conspiracy theories. Whats on your mind?

Most of the gadget blogs are saying it is the latter: it's due to being respectful for SPJ. I don't know if it is really the reason, but some of the gadget blog "sources" are stating as such.

As Aenean says, they announced that it was out of respect for Steve Jobs. They didn't think it was fair to be worried about competing with Apple in such a mournful time. While I definitely think this is very respectful of them, and a very classy move, I have a sneaking suspicion that there was an underlying factor to the decision. Maybe they wanted to let the brevity (or lack thereof) of the iPhone 4S announcement sink in before they announced this super amazing phone.
