Why is taking so long for B&N to launch nook internationally??? (Kindle, Kobo and SReader already are)

This has to do with the licensing of content. In order to sell books and magazines, the companies (B&N, Amazon, Sony) have to make deals with content providers in order to sell their content in a different country. Traditionally, these deals are much easier to make within North America and the EU. Going outside of those areas is more complicated, hence the extra time before the devices are released.
