Question about
Why is my iPhone 3G battery draining so fast?

The iPhone 3G is about three years old at this point. With a lot of sustained use, it's not surprising that the battery might not hold a charge for very long. The iPhone's battery is rated at something like 400 charge cycles -- it's not unreasonable to think you might have used it that much in the past three years.
It is possible to replace the battery yourself though. iFixIt.com will sell you one for ~$15 and show you how to replace it yourself: www.ifixit.com/iPhone-Parts/iPhone-3G-Replacement-...
