Question about
Whenever my computer goes into sleep mode, for some reason the computer will not display the screensaver, it displays it for 2 seconds, then the screen just…
goes black. Afterwards, when I resume the computer the taskbar seems to be missing leaving only the Windows start button. Anyone know how I could fix this?
There is a power setting for 'turn off screen' under your computer's power settings. That is most likely why the screen is going black. It's a power saving tactic.
As for your taskbar disappearing I have no idea what could be causing that. What version of Windows are you using? If it's Vista or 7 there may be an issue with your graphics drivers, but that's a long shot.
