Question about
When will the HP Pre 3 finally be released?
This summer? I thought it would be available half a month ago, mid July.
Even though it's said that they are going to upgrade with a dual core chip (I'm not sure if that's true) It seems to me that it will always going to be the last one to being considered for smart phone geeks.
It has so much potential, and I still want to strongly bet for this product, but I think HP isn't acting as fast as they should be doing right now.
Do you think is it as relevant as I think it is when are they finally releasing the Pre3? There are almost 4 (including this Palm 3) versions of the Pre. And I don't see so much enthusiasm about it's release.
I think they should be doing It in another way...

There hasn't been any updates on a definitive release date for the Pre 3. The odds are already against the Pre 3 and I really think holding this product back is only hurting it's potential more.

HP just stated they will not sell these in the USA now. :( If you are in Europe you can snag a unlocked one for 75 USD. Not all 3G bands work with ATT and Tmobile.

I think it will be by the end of August.
HP is definitely not marketing it right. There was hype when announced back in february, now the hype is gone. And there's pretty much nothing in the phone, besides the OS, that can create hype now. I don't think they expect it to be a hit anyway.
Specs and form factor are great for me, but won't make a difference for any, and WebOS is only a key differentiator for fans of WebOS.

I think it may also launch in august. But most likely in Europe rather than in the US. It seems HP can't get the launch right... :(

now we know when... it will be never released! HP has definitely killed that precious gadged. I'm Agree with the ones that say that WebOs should turn into an open platform controlled by an open foundation. Just what Android was (is?).
