When will Gingerbread update finally be available in the UK?

It already is. IF you're willing to do a little tweaking, XDA Developers forum will teach you all you need to know. Or there's Cyanogenmod. As for official availibility... that'll depend on your carrier, much like it does in the US. It's always a cat and mouse game trying to figure out IF and WHEN a device will get an Android update.
