When will AT&T release the HTC Titan?

AT&T is currently withholding any release dates on most of the second generation smartphones, including the HTC Titan as they are currently trying to dump their stock HTC phones.

I wouldn't be surprised though that they make some announcement in the next week, around October 12th after their HTC smartphone deals expire (obviously trying to get rid of inventory).

Historically, the U.S. market gets new HTC phone models roughly 1-2+ weeks after they are released in Europe and/or Asia.

Thanks for the info Frostea. If I may ask, where did you here about the HTC deal with current inventory expiring around Oct 12th?

Sure enough, the deal expired around the 12th of October, and you may notice that AT&T is only offering 2 of the older Windows Phones, down from 4.

Unfortunately, it's now up to the prerogative of the carrier as to when they will release the various 2nd generation phones that are now circulating world-wide. Unfortunately, due to the oligopoly state of the mobile carrier industry in the United States, the users are at their mercy of when and if they decide to release new phones to market. Seldom do users realize that the phone they are acquiring is in fact months old and has been on the world market for sometime. U.S. carriers tend to be very slow to adopt them to their networks out of either incompetence or for purposeful control and prediction of market flows.

Yeah unfortunately I am left to suffer as slightly different android device after device is crammed down the consumer throats. Still anxiously waiting though. Sick of IOS.
