Question about

What size of Ipad should i get.. 16, 32, or the largest

Im looking into buying a First generation IPAD, and I was wondering about the space on it. I would be putting all my music on it, which is currently 2.20GB, but i also have a bunch of movies i want to add. But im not sure how much movies take up. Plus apps that i would want too.. suggestions please :)

The question of how much storage capacity is needed is different for everyone, but based on what you plan to store on the iPad, I would recommend at least 32 GB. Movies in HD take up a fair amount of space, and there's always the possibility you'll add more music on top of the 2.2 GB you already have, and you'll need sufficient space for apps and books. In the end, if you're storing things on the device as opposed to the cloud, you'd rather have more space than you think you need.

I personally find that 16 GB pretty much covers it for most, with 32 GB being more than substantial. 64 GB is just overkill

Presently everyone prefers mp4 to mp3. So, your best choice would be the 64GB. Also, the software and other programs for iPad have increased phenomenally. I am sure there will be some of interest such as ebooks etc.

It depends on how much music and how many apps you intend to put on it. If you only want a few movies and a few dozen apps then the 16GB will be fine.
If you want to have maybe 20 movies and 100 apps then you will need the 32GB.
To fill up the 64 GB you will need hundreds of apps and like 100 movies.

I bought the 64 GB and have had it less then a year , ( May will be a year! ) and I have already used over 20 GB just for apps ect.... I haven't even put my photos, music or videos on it yet. So knowing you won't be happy with anything less I suggest you get the 64 GB and you won't be sorry. Anything less and you may come to regret it. It is easier to live with more then you need in memory then less than you need!
Have a great time with your new toy/tool!
Best Regards!!

My 16Gb iPad was often maxed out and I'd have to prune apps every so often, but since I had been downloading apps since the App Store opened I had more to work with. Anyone buying an iPad (with no apps to carry over) might find 16Gb to be enough.

To answer your question directly I'd say no more than 32Gb.

I would also add that a new iPad may be announced in the next 2-3 months so if cost is a consideration you may want to wait and see what happens with iPad 1 & 2 pricing.
