Question about
What qwerty Android phone should I get to replace my Epic 4G?
I love my Epic 4G, but it's hitting EOL soon, dual-core phones are getting more common, and I've got a Sprint Premier upgrade credit burning a hole in my pocket! I really want a qwerty phone of some kind, but the Epic 2 seems lame and it looks like the Galaxy S2 with qwerty is headed to AT&T...
Is there anything else cool and qwerty headed to Sprint in the near future, or if not, what phone would you jump ship to another carrier for?

I agree that the Epic 2 looks lame, I can't understand why they are even calling it the Epic 2, except for a very slight processor upgrade, it's going to be very similar to the current Epic. They are also releasing the Epic Touch however, but it's basically just going to be the Galaxy S II on Sprint. So far the only two phones out on Sprint with dual-core processors are the Motorola Photon and the Evo 3D, neither of which have a keyboard, Also (well this is just speculation from the name) but I don't see the Epic 4G Touch having a keyboard either. The only other leaked android phones are the Evo Design 4G, and the Motorola Admiral, which no specs are really known for those yet. From the looks of it though, the keyboard is becoming a dying breed.
At this point, there is also no really good dual-core phones with a keyboard on the other carriers either. as we get on into Q3 and then Q4, the other carriers and Sprint should start releasing new phones, I'd wait before using the upgrade or jumping ship until I see a full list of phones out in the next few months. On a side note, I just upgraded from the Epic to the Photon, and even thou I've lost the keyboard, I'm perfectly happy with my new phone. Which I use Slideit keyboard on my touch screen, I find I can type faster with it, than I ever could the qwerty keyboard.

I love my Droid 3. If you want a really good keyboard than you need to go 5 row.
