What is your opinion on Juction View?

A lot of the Garmin models have Lane Assist (showing which lane you need to be instead of general "keep left"), but only a few Garmin models have Junction View (simulated highway signs showing which exit to take).

To those of you who has used Junction View on the 1390T, what do you think of Junction View in real use?
I've read on one of the reviews that it was annoying because there is no way to disable the feature.

On all the marketing materials, junction view is shown as taking up the whole screen, but at least on Nuvi 255W, it only took up half of the screen. How does it work on the 1390T?

On the 1390T it displays full screen, it may display the same as the 255W if you configure the display to show additional details, but the way mine is setup it shows full screen.

It's not annoying at all, it only displays very briefly, long enough to glance at it, then it goes back to the map.

Not very useful for me as I live in a relatively small city with few complex junctions.

I have to add, when I was traveling through some larger cities, like Atlanta, I found Junction View to be invaluable to navigate confusing ramps. It was a lifesaver.

I have the 1390LMT and it has the Junction View. It surprised me the first time it showed on the screen. It was full screen and it took a minute to recognize what it was showing me. For me, I find it adds little value. The picture of the sign is not nearly as useful as Lane Assist. The picture of the sign tells me the exit is ahead, but I still have to figure out what lane to be in if it is a complex exit. Lane Assist is more useful because it actually guides me through the exit.
