Any idea when the next gen will be coming out? I know they're selling like hotcakes since the $50 price reduction and it's a product that's supposed to get faster through software over time, but I still never trust first gen products.
Anyone with experience with the Acer vs the Samsung? Also is the 100MB of 3G data/month worth $100? I love the price range of these, the only thing holding me back from unleashing $400 on an Acer 3G model or $300 on the Wifi only model is that it's the first gen and a price reduction is often a signal of the next generation coming soon.
Question about
What is the release date of Chromebook 2?
Probably sometime around CES. Chromebooks suck though. Just dual-boot Mac OS X and Linux while running Windows 8 via a virtual machine (Parallels) in Mac OS X. Or do a tri-boot.

Well keeping an eye around CES, Samsung series 5 Chromebooks have been unveiled.
it retains its 16 gb storage with a 12.1 inch matte screen and expansive keyboard coupled with a large trackpad. All i can say is there is nothing ground breaking here. its quite simple to build ur own, i did experiment with it though.. make sure to check the link below
