According to the documentation here: support.apple.com/kb/SP582 (which is based on the model number in the specs page) the operating temperature for this model of Macbook Pro is 50° to 95° F

It all depends on what you're doing with it. Mine usually runs around 50-60ºC for just safari and other basic things. But when I'm running FCP or After Effects (or anything power intensive) it will get up to the 70-85 Degree range. As long as you're not constantly keeping it over 90º it should be fine.
If you find its getting hot, make sure that nothing is blocking the fan vents behind the monitor hinge.

Then it seems that your Mac is overheating too because when you are at idle the fan are supposed to run at 2500rpm and the temp is supposed to be as franspin told us 10 to 35°C.
