Microsoft already showed off a lot of Windows 8 at CES earlier this year, but Microsoft says we'll be seeing a lot more of it at their BUILD conference in roughly 3 weeks. This got me thinking.. What are you excited for (and possibly not excited for) in Windows 8?
Personally, I REALLY want to try out the new UI layer that 8 is showing off. It might be kind of weird to use on desktops and/or laptops, but it looks like it'd be amazing to use on tablets. This means that we could see actual, solid tablets running Windows by this time next year. (Windows 7 tablets thus far have been all things considered quite disappointing). I'm NOT excited for the change to ribbon UI. (As seen in Office 2007-present). At CES Microsoft showed that navigating filesystems and folders would use the ribbon UI, which I personally find clunky and hard to navigate (or I should say, inconvenient).
What about you?
