What are the must-have PS3 exclusive games?

Setting aside my insistence not to support Sony, I begrudgingly picked up a PS3 on Black Friday once I learned that I could play classic favorites like Crash Bandicoot, Ape Escape and Final Fantasy VII again.

Besides the obvious well known ones like the Uncharted or God of War series, what must-have PS3 exclusives should I pick up?

Disc:
Heavy Rain
Demon Souls & Dark Souls - considered some of the hardest games to come out in years
Team ICO Collection (Ico & Shadow of the Colossus re-done in full HD)
Little Big Planet - moderately fun series that allows for a ton of creativity through their level creator
inFamous - a lot of people loved this series but it was so-so to me, you may dig it
Killzone
Resistance

PSN:
flower (made by the developers who made flow), Auditorium, Pixel Shooter/Monster, Critter Crunch, Joe Danger

Metal Slug & Virtua Fighter are available in the store as well.

Ni No Kuni - not released yet but it looks like absolutely beautiful. Here is the trailers from E3/TGS www.youtube.com/watch?v=afLz_1XfzPk

Demon Souls, Valkyria Chronicles (if you can get passed the annoying anime crap and like strategy games then I highly recommend it.), Metal Gear Solid 4, little big planet 1 and 2, Gran Turismo 5, Ratchet and Clank series, Wipeout HD.

If you're into Tactical RPGs I highly recommend Valkyria Chronicles. It's a great game and I love how there are many cutscenes!

-Resistance 1, 2 and 3.
-LittleBigPlanet 1 and 2.
-God of War Origins Collection

And God of War 3 and Uncharted 1, 2 and 3 which is, hands down, one of the best games of this generation.

I haven't played it yet, but another one people seem to rave about is Heavy Rain. I believe they're working on a sequel as well.

Infamous, Motorstorm if you're not a Gran Turismo kinda guy like me (I have Pacific Rift and played the first one a bunch too). I want Resistance 3, but haven't played more than the demo.
I loved GoW Collection and III and haven't gotten into Uncharted yet, but it's something I will eventually play, starting out with the 1st game since the older games are so cheap. The Prince of Persia series was awesome back on PS2 and the 3 games can be had as one cheap game, but I'm not sure if price and story quality are your main factors. I'm excited to pick up the Metal Gear Collection and definitely get your hands on MGS 4. Up until GoW III, MGS4 was the best looking game I had ever played. Modnation Racers is a fun game that is a Sony branded Mario kart experience. It's more challenging, but just as fun in single player or multiplayer mode as the Nintendo counterpart. WipeOut HD is another solid racing experience, but different than the others I've listed in that it's more of a futuristic pod racer. I'm not a LittleBigPlanet fan, but if you yearn for a platformer, it's a popular one.

While we are on the topic:

Don't bash Sony if you enjoy Apple's products or have an Xbox 360. PS3 was always a far superior machine to the Xbox 360(blu ray, hello!) and the only reason people have Xboxes is because it came out earlier and the initial price point was cheaper. PS3s overall price has always been cheaper, when compared the Wii and Xbox and the cost of a blu ray player. The hidden costs of wireless adapters, rechargeable batteries for controllers and extra controllers, online fees, etc add up to some serious $$. The network interruption was blown out of proportion, identity theft isn't as scary as it used to be thanks to the ability to track all purchases online and when handled correctly, identity theft can be fixed in a week or so from my experiences. When the network was down I definitely missed playing CoD online, but I simply played the story mode in my other games. People act like the online mode in a game is the only one that matters anymore and it's simply not true.

The only thing Xbox fans have over Playstation is the "network" that allows Xbox users to play the same games over and over, with the same people that costs $50/year. Wow, that's exciting, you prestiged 6 times! I would much rather play a different game by myself than the same zombie level over and over with the same people. I love my CoD, but I beat the single player campaign in MW2 and Black Ops and have only prestiged once each game.

Apple demands a premium but constantly delivers sub-premium specs and rarely slashes prices. I have an iPhone, Airport Express and my wife has a Macbook Air so we enjoy their products, but you know you're overpaying initially. The reason you buy it, is because it's gonna last longer than the other products and perform more consistently. The whole "experience" thing is overrated, but I digress. Sony is famous for spreading itself too thin, but they also slash their prices over time, which is great for consumers. If you buy something at launch, like the new tablet S, you have no one but yourself to complain to when they slash the price to $350 or something to move the units. Apple will never do this as it's still difficult to pick up a first gen iPad for less than $300. At the end of the day, a company should pay more attention to how many units they can move versus the pile of cash sitting in their bank account.

You should definitely try:

Killzone 3 (or 2, but I like 3 better)
LittleBigPlanet (1 and 2)
Uncharted (1, 2, and 3)
inFAMOUS (1 and 2)
The PixelJunk Games (on PSN)

Wow. I can't believe no one has mentioned God of War (all of them). This is probably my favorite series of all time. Epic story, epic play, epic setting.
Heavy Rain is also a great departure from traditional console games. I'd also vote for Infamous and ICO/Shadow of the Colossus.

I've always liked the Gran Turismo series on Sony. I finally got around to purchasing GT5. A friend of mine introduced me to Killzone, and I've become quite a fan of that series as well. I'm sure in time, I'll eventually pick up God of War, Uncharted, Resistance and InFamous in due time...

I didn't see anyone mention Batman: Arkham Asylum or Batman: Arkham City? Hello-o? Those 2 games are freaking incredible!

Do yourself a favor too - pick up a pair of PS3 wireless headphones (only 1 pair can work with the console). It is fantastic and at as low as $89 - you can't beat that with a stick.

...

Little Big Planet 1 and Little Big Planet 2 are pretty cool too, especially if you have kids who want to steal the PS3 away from you and you want to play along. Heck - sometimes I just like to play by myself when the kids are asleep. Mostly though, I go Dark Knight.

Uncharted. I've played Resistance, Killzone, Metal Gear - and I got to say, for me, the Uncharted games are the only must-haves.
