What are some must-own iPad apps?
#sworcery - An awesome adventure/puzzle game.
PlainText - Eleegant Dropbox notes.
Wunderlist - Cloud based to-do list. There's also a version for iPhone, Mac, Android, and Windows.
New York Times - Very well implemented app. Better with a subscription.
Instapaper - It's difficult to describe why this rocks, but it does. Its basically fancy article saving.

Reeder - The best Google Reader app on any device.
Sonos - Obviously only if you have a Sonos system.
Kindle - Much preferred over iBooks.
HBO GO - If you have HBO this is mandatory.
Twitterific - I've never been able to get into the official Twitter iPad app.
GoodReader - Really handy for PDFs and other email attachments.
Risk - Bought this on sale, so not sure if I'd pay full price, but I love being able to play a game in five minutes.
Bing - Seriously. Even if you don't use Bing anywhere else you might be surprised by how good the iPad app is.

- Calcbot — Beautiful user interface, and overall great calculator to have.
- Autograph – not really essential, but an easy way to have your signatures in emails, PDF documents etc.
- Netflix — This is a must have app for viewing movies, and TV shows. (Subscription required)
- Hulu Plus — If you love hulu, you will love their app for viewing TV Shows, and now movies (Subscription required)
- Pandora — This is a must have for online radio, and discovering new music from your favorite artists and/or bands or similar songs based on your favorite picks.
- ABC Player — Is by far one of my favorite apps to view ABC content
- HBO Go — This is probably one of my favorite apps as well, and personally a must have! (Subscription required)
- Time Warner App — If you are a Time Warner Cable subscriber you will never have to miss your favorite show again with live TV streaming for when you are on the go. (Subscription required to TWC)
- Air Video — Nice way to stream your videos and/or movies off your computer to your iPad / iPhone / iPod Touch. Similar to Plex (another similar app)
- VEVO HD — Watch new upcoming music videos of your favorite artists, or search to view others. Also has a nice user interface.
- Read it Later / Read it Later Pro — A must have to read articles you want to read later, and with Read it Later digest (requires in-app purchase for this feature) you can have article automatically tagged to be organize them as you mark articles online to read later. Great for on the go1
- Instapaper — Similar to Read it Later, and by far very handy to have for reading saved articles.
- Pulse —One of my favorite apps to subscribe to RSS feeds to your favorite new sources, and with a beautiful interface makes the experience even more enjoyable. (Similar choice is Feedly app as an alternative)
- Flip Book — Is by far one of the popular apps for the iPad for turning your tweets, Facebook newsfeed, and news content into your own personal magazine.
- StumbleUpon — Love the online experience when discovering and/or stumbling upon new content? —If so, you will love to have it all on the go with their iPad app.
- Engadget — Engadget is a popular tech weblog for breaking tech news, tech event coverage, and full reviews of your favorite gadgets. This is a must have app for those who follow the blog, and/or those who are huge gadget lovers. just like me! =)
- Seasonality Go — This gorgeous app is a must have app for checking the current weather, wind speeds, and with the beautiful interface you can view the current weather in style.
- Qwiki — searching for things? like sitting there reading it? —what if your app read the search result to you? It is all possible now with the upcoming Qwiki app, which now has transformed the search experience in an interactive way right in your iPad (and online as well).
- Sportacular —By far my favorite app for keeping up with my favorite sport teams, and highly recommended.
- Google — We all love Googl, but their iPad app has been updated a few months ago and simply looks amazing. (I also recommend the Bing app, which has by far one of the best looking interfaces for search based apps by far over Google's app. Even if you don't use Bing, the app interface makes you want to start using Bing search).
- IMDb (Internet Movie Database) — There isn't must I can say aside from it one of the best ways to view movie trailers, and stay posted on new upcoming movies with the largest database for movie information, and user reviews.
- SpringPad — Great app to make lists of your favorite restaurant, products, songs, quick check list, or create an inventory of things you own etc. It is a handy app, and you can share lists you create with friends and/or family.
- iPages — I used iPages on the Mac, but the iPages for the iPad feels just like the Mac counterpart, and now with Apple's new iCloud announcement today you can sync these documents with all your idevices on the cloud, which will make this a must have app.
- Keynote — It is by far the best app for creating presentation on the go, editing presentations, and even presenting them right from your iPad. I highly recommend this app, and any presentation you create on your iPad can be continued on your Mac.
- Deliveries — Have to track a new package? — this is your the app for you with an amazing interface, and the ability to sync packages your tracking on your idevices makes tracking a package enjoyable, and simply awesome again.
- Evernote — I do not believe this app needs an introduction, but is a must have productivity app.
- PS Express (Photoshop Express) — Similar to its popular Mac/PC counterpart you can edit photos easily, added effects, crop etc. in a breeze. If you think you created a master piece you can share it with other by creating a Photoshop.com account.
- Wordpress — Like to blog using Wordpress? —this app will let you stay productive creating juice new content when your on the go without a hiccup.
- Dropbox — Sync all your dropbox files with your iPad easily.
This is a few apps I can think of from the top of my head, but so far I believe a great list to guide you in the right direction on your "must-own" iPad apps :-)

My other must haves are FlipBoard, Twitter, TWC Max+, Yelp, Getglue, Bing, and Apple's Remote app.
Also find a good calculator.
