Warped bezel.

This TV is absolutely stunning to watch. Unfortunately I had the misfortune of buying one with a severely warped bezel (roughly 1/2" bow to the case) that allows light to bleed around the edge of the screen and washout the entire left side of the image. Will be returning it to Best Buy in the morning.
