Video has a lot of interference. I have two of these cameras and both have the interference.
An older camera from Logitech did not have this problem on the same system.
What do you mean by interference? Does the image look really grainy / noisy?
It not what I would consider grainy, but definitely noise with a pulse type effect of lines through the entire video. I uploaded a sample to my youtube account. www.youtube.com/watch?v=b5gak43eBQ0 Update's didn't help. The only other thing that I can add is that the noise will sometimes disappear but I can never tell why or what's causing it. Also the effect is the same whether the camera is connected directly to the pc or via a powered hub.
Recently rearranged my apartment. The computer is now located on an outside wall and is plugged into a different outlet. I just plugged the camera in today and, surprise, nice clear picture. Although there was a bit of flicker in the image, probably due to the camera auto adjusting light levels. Everything is hooked up just as it was before. The only change is the outlet which the system (and the UPC) is plugged into. Not sure why the change made a difference as an exam of the circuit breaker box indicates that all of the apartment's outlets are on the same circuit. It doesn't make any sense to me. I'll just have to wait and see if the problem reappears.
