Question about
USB ports and memory card slot not working
I've tried connecting the monitor via a couple of square-to-standard USB cables to a couple of different computers and I can't get the USB ports or memory card slots on the monitor to be recognized. Any ideas?

The only thing I can think is that your monitor is lacking an essential driver. Here's the driver support page for your monitor: support.dell.com/support/downloads/download.aspx?c...
The only thing that confuses me is the fact that the driver was released 6 years ago. So, since the monitor is rather old, the drivers might work for you, or you may need to get a new monitor.
Good luck!

I've had this issue with this monitor, reinstalling the drivers, as NotHotWater suggested, fixed it.
